Elizabeth (Decker) Frielinghaus

        Elizabeth Decker was born about 1830 in Alsace-Lorraine . The Newark City Directory of 1851/52 has an Elizabeth Decker residing at 188 Orange Street. I have found a passage in the Germans to America volumes that has a Johannes Decker and an Elizabeth Decker, the same age, emigrating on the Robert Peel from London to New York arriving on July 19, 1851. Whether this is her or not is not presently known. On February 23, 1869 in Orange, New Jersey, Elizabeth died of Dropsy. Her place of burial is unknown.
