The following surnames are not ancestors or cousins.  They are surnames that I have come across while researching.  I have some information on each.

        My Frielinghaus roots can be traced back to my GG-Grandfather, Daniel Frielinghaus. I have not been able to find any records of his immigration. Daniel was born in Lennep, Rheinland, Prussia in 1823 and arrived in the United States prior to mid 1854. I am currently attempting to find Daniel's birth village. Living in Newark, New Jersey, Daniel married Elizabeth Decker and they had a son, August Daniel Frielinghaus. The above Associated Surnames have connections to Daniel. They are his friends, business associates and the family of his second wife.

       Daniel Frielinghaus, born March 10, 1823 in Lennep, Rheinland, Prussia and died on August 23, 1873 in Newark, New Jersey.  He married Elizabeth Decker on July 05, 1854 in Newark, New Jersey.  Elizabeth Decker died on February 23, 1869 and on November 18, 1869 Daniel married Anna Maria Brenner Theurer.  Children of the first marriage:

1.  adopted daughter Mary Frielinghaus, 

and 2.  August Daniel Frielinghaus, born on December 21, 1863 in Newark, New Jersey and died on March 24, 1934 in Newark, New Jersey.  He married Caroline Elizabeth Bittel on August 16, 1887 in Newark, New Jersey.  Children of the marriage:

1.  Daniel Frielinghaus, born May 1889
2.  Edward Frielinghaus, born February 06, 1891
3.  Caroline Frielinghaus, born February 18, 1893
5.  Frederick Frielinghaus, born July 24, 1897
6.  Louis Frielinghaus, born November 27, 1899

and 4.  Arthur Frielinghaus, born March 01, 1895 in Newark, New Jersey and died in May 1985 in Colonia, New Jersey.  He married Ethel Maria Nichols on May 28, 1913 in Frederick City, Maryland.  Children of the marriage:

1.  Mary Frielinghaus, born February 28, 1915

and 2.  Ethel Frielinghaus, born January 07, 1919.  She married Hugo Frederick Geisheimer on November 26, 1942 in Newark, New Jersey.
