FRIELINGHAUS FAMILY #1
BACH, BECKMANN, BITTEL, DECKER, NICHOLS, SCHILLING, SINGER
The following surnames are not ancestors or cousins. They are surnames that I have come across while researching.
I have some information on each.
BRENNER, LAUCK, LEHLBACH, RUMPF, THEURER, TRAUDT
My Frielinghaus roots can be
traced back to my GG-Grandfather, Daniel Frielinghaus. I have not been able to find any
records of his immigration. Daniel was born in Lennep, Rheinland, Prussia in 1823 and arrived in the United
States prior to mid 1854. I am currently attempting to find Daniel's birth village. Living
in Newark, New Jersey, Daniel married Elizabeth Decker and they had a son, August Daniel
Frielinghaus. The above Associated Surnames have connections to Daniel. They are his
friends, business associates and the family of his second wife.
