UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST

Most German Evangelical Churches were part of  the denomination called "Deutsche Evangelische und Reformierte," which became in English the Evangelical and Reformed Church.  The E & R Church merged with the Congregational Church in 1957 to form the United Church of Christ.
