Frederick Otto Geisheimer

         Frederick Otto Geisheimer, age 20, left the port of Hamburg, Germany aboard the ship Cimbrie and arrived in New York City on November 4, 1868.  Otto originally went to Philadelphia then settled in Newark, New Jersey.  His second wife was Mathilde Katschirina.   They were married on March 17, 1892 by Rev George Schambach of the German Evangelical Lutheran Church on Mulberry Street, Newark.  Witnesses to the marriage were Otto's brother Herman and his wife Lena.  Otto and Mathilde had a son, August Hugo Geisheimer, who was born on December 08, 1892.
